Year 5 visit to Edgecombe Court

Lesson: PSHE and citizenship

Class: Year 5 Year: 2016 - 17

On Friday 5th May Year 5 visited Edgecombe Court residential home. The class took their work and games to share with the residents there. The children were a little nervous at first but soon made friends and were chatting away in no time. They shared their topic books and talked all about what they had been learning in school as well as sharing about their hobbies and likes out of school. The children were a delight to take out and all the adults commented on what a lovely afternoon they had with them. 

Another community event that will go towards their Young Leaders award.
