Sports Hall Athletics

On Wednesday 30th January 12 children from year 5 and 6 went to Kendal Leisure Centre to take part in the Sports Hall Athletics event against many other local schools. There was a variety of indoor track and field events which the chilsren had to choose which ones they wanted to compete in.

Miss Fleming said the group tried so hard and did so well in every event. Not only did they show great sporting skill but also they were very supportive towards each other, cheering each other on and congratulating after the event was over.

Well done to Gabriel, Barney, Jack P, Neive, Lauren and Eva from year 6 and Max, Jake, Ashkan, Isabella, Tilly and Lucy from year 5!
