Nursery Admissions
Vicarage Park Nursery admits children aged three and upwards. All children are eligible to at least 15 hours of free funded nursery education from the term after their third birthday. Reception Admissions
Applications for Reception places are managed by Westmorland and Furness Council, and the deadline for Reception starters is 15th January 2026. Parents and carers can find full details and apply online via the Local Authority admissions page: Apply for a school place – Westmorland and Furness Council. Alternatively, a copy is available to view at the school.

You may apply either by completing the on-line application form on the council’s website or you can download an application form (SA1) from the county council’s website, ask your preferred school for a form or contact the School Admissions and Appeals Team school.admissions@westmorlandandfurness.gov.uk - and they will send a form to you.

Return your completed form to your preferred school by the closing date of 15th January 2026; it is vital to get your application in on time as there is less chance of getting a place at your preferred school if your application is late.​
