Year 5 vs Staff Rounders match

Year 5 played brilliantly well this afternoon against the staff in their charity rounders match. Team 1-captained by Harry- scored 3 rounders, whilst the staff raced home to a huge 11 rounders. Team 2-captained by Alfie-again played some excellent tactics- they had obviusly taken note of the 'terrific trio'of back-stop Miss- Flemming, bowler-Miss Brookes and first-base-Mrs Green. They scored 5 rounders but couldn't quite beat the big hitters of the staff who scored 12! A great afternoon was had by all. 

A big thank you to the Friends of Vicarage Park who provided a much needed cold ice lolly during the afternoon!
